GER Review ’02-’03 The Process… Envision a four-stage GER review process: Define desired outcomes / desired content Define a delivery mechanism Define an administrative mechanism Define an assessment mechanism Do not mean to imply a necessarily linear process; stages may be overlapped and intertwined.

GER Review ’02-’03 Where We Stand… Begun to ask the “Outcomes Question” Email to Chairs asking Depts. to consider two questions: “What should all students know about your discipline?” “What should your students gain from a GER program?” Planning for student and alumni focus groups and campus-wide open forums.

GER Review ’02-’03 How can you become involved… Participate in Departmental Meetings on GER Review. Participate in Discussion Boards. Participate in Open Forums.
