2 Environmental Health & Safety offers a variety of opportunities for students studying environmental health, industrial hygiene and other majors: –mentoring and teaching –offering invaluable work experience in their field –contributing to the academic mission –contributing to the student engagement process –building resumes and references for employment –participating in employment and job fairs –student use of EHS library, AV, resources, and equipment Examples: Fire extinguisher inspectionPest control technician Lab safety technicianGIS developer Radiation lab technicianSpecial Projects Industrial hygiene technicianStudent Projects Housing inspectorLead paint tester Newsletter writer Web site editor
