14 Vote YES Nov 5 Coconino Parks & Open Space Program Ballot Location First initiative listed on the ballot after the candidates Ballot Language To implement the Coconino Parks and Open Space Program with a Capital Projects Sales Tax County of Coconino shall acquire and protect lands that preserve water quality, wetlands, forests, wildlife habitats and other natural areas, to acquire and improve parks, trails, historic and cultural sites and augment grants and aid received by Coconino County for parks and open space purposes to be known as the Coconino Parks and Open Space Program shall Coconino County levy a capital projects tax of one-eighth of one cent per dollar over an estimated term of ten years on all sales or uses within Coconino County that are subject to the Arizona State Transaction Privilege Tax and use the proceeds for acquisition and development of the following projects…..
