Project description Develop a database application for facility division employee to administrate facilities in each location on campus. Some group did part of the work and we continue theirs.

Requirement Be similar to current paper forms being used in work, which outlines our interface. Relationship: BuildingStorage room Lounge room Apartment/Dormitory room 1 M 1 1 11

Requirement (Cont.) Insert different facilities (like mattress, couch, etc) into different room update data for each room when there is any change Generate report for each room based on: –Some date –One arbitrate period time –Monthly –Yearly

System configuration Hardware: –More than one PC for database server or client remote work Software: –Window system with browser like IE, Firefox, etc. –MySQL database

Heuristic evaluation Affordances, mappings & Constraints –Nice. –No sub pages for links so no color change. –Maybe give feedback on what exactly is entered into database after it’s inserted Language –Fairly simple and easy to understand –Easy but don’t see any place to get help

Heuristic evaluation (Cont.) Layout –Functional but not very appealing –Fairly technical look Color –Good color matching Auburn scheme –Consider adding more graphical images into pages to be more attractive

Heuristic evaluation (Cont.) Tone & Etiquette –The tone is fairly technical. Feels like you know what you do –Straight forward tome appropriate for this application Special consideration –Seems to be fairly standard
