23 Examples of Partnerships Encourage students to access resources such as University Success (tutoring), Academic Coaching, Writing Center, Empowerment Project for Returning Students (WRC), Diversity and Multicultural Student Services; Participate in campus-based activities and groups such as Faculty Favorite Lectures Series (WRC), Campus Recreation Center, Outdoor Program trips, SAGE, Bias Response Team; Invite staff to speak in your class on topics such as Queer Ally Training, Interactive Peer Education Theatre addressing interpersonal violence issues, medical, legal and housing concerns for students, academic integrity as defined by Student Code of Conduct; Refer students needing assistance in navigating difficulty or for conduct reasons (academic dishonesty, other conduct violations); Interactive video link will be sent first week of fall term.

25 Bias Response Team (BRT) PSU community identified group of trained advocates; Work with students, staff and faculty experiencing bias on campus; Reporting form DOSL online: www.pdx.edu/dos/bias-response-team Goals of BRT are: Increase opportunities for communication and restorative justice; Collect campus climate data and address incidents and trends; Provide individuals with information, tools and resources in order to better understand and navigate the complexities of PSU.

26 Student Code of Conduct Domanic Thomas, M.Ed., Director of Conduct and Community Standards Describes and provides a process for addressing inappropriate student behavior Complaints can be submitted online by visiting DOSL website- www.pdx.edu/dos/student-code-of-conduct Conduct Committee a Faculty Governance Committee.
