Directions 1.Create your design within the borders of the templates (some of the templates are larger than the powerpoint slide, and that’s ok) – Tip: make sure the “shadow” feature is turned off on any shapes as this causes a white rim around your designs when they are uploaded 2.When you’ve finished your design, delete the template background 3.Highlight and group the entire design 4.If you have included text in your design: copy the design and then “paste special” as a picture (this will make the text an actual part of your design image) 5.Right-click on the newly pasted design and choose “save as a picture” 6.We find powerpoint designs work best if saved as GIF images 7.Upload your design to Glö! Have fun with it! Use your design set the tone for a fun celebration your guests will look forward to.

Glövite template (portrait size) 1.Create design within white area 2.Start with a rectangle as the basis for your design 3.When finished, delete template background 4.Group entire design 5.Copy design and “paste special” as a picture 6.Right click on newly pasted picture 7.Choose “save as a picture” – choose type GIF 8.Upload GIF design into Glö Note: for square sized design, simply make design height shorter Delete when finished

Glösite full page design (on next page) 1.Create design to fill the width of the white area 2.Height of the design is flexible We recommend making a design that can either be tiled or else ends with a solid color along the bottom so that a matching “background color” can be chosen 3.Remember to take into account where links and page text begins. It is difficult to read text over some color patterns. Bring grey tab “to front” to see guidelines for where links and text box begins 4.When finished, delete template background 5.Group design elements 6.Copy and “paste special” as a picture 7.Right click on newly pasted picture 8.Choose “save as a picture” – choose type GIF 9.Upload GIF design into Glö
