8. http:// ?  http://studentweb.cortland.edu/water54/project1.html  http:// tells the Web-browser to use the hyper-text-transfer-protocol.  studentweb.cortland.edu tells the browser to go to the Cortland web-server computer.  Username (water54) tells the browser to go to your account on the Cortland web-server computer water54@cortland.edu – the account name is water54.  filename.html (project1.html) tells the browser to go to that file on your account.
