Electrical Engineering Industry Advisory Council IAC Mission Statement The mission of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) is to promote the excellence of the Arizona State University Electrical Engineering Department's teaching and research programs in order to meet the future needs of industry, Arizona, and the nation.

1.To establish a regular system of communications between the ASU EE Department and Industry. 2.To develop strategies for helping the ASU EE Department meet its strategic goals. 3.To establish methods by which the ASU EE Department and Industry can collaborate to enhance the education delivered by the department. 4.To align prospective employees with prospective employers. 5.To establish methods by which industry can help support the resource needs of the ASU EE Department. 6.To promote the efficient and effective use of the mutual resources of industry and the ASU EE Department. 7.To advise and team with the ASU EE Department regarding meaningful research activities and their funding. 8.To promote the transfer of the results of research activities to application.
