4  The 2008 North American Solar Challenge (NASC2008) is a competition to design, build, and drive solar-powered cars in a cross- country time/distance rally event.  Teams compete in a 2400 mile drive from Dallas, Texas to Calgary, Alberta.  11 stages  July 6-23, 2008 5/15/20084 CUSEV
