Title: Dynamics and Trends of malaria in relation to anopheline mosquitoes Ecology, Distribution and kdr resistance in a hydropower dam area of Southwestern Ethiopia Malaria is a major health problem. Anopheles arabiensis is the major malaria vector provide data on the trends and dynamics of malaria transmission in relation to anopheline vector mosquito ecology, abundance and spatio-temporal distribution in Gilgel-Gibe area.

Title: Dynamics and Trends of malaria in relation to anopheline mosquitoes Ecology, Distribution and kdr resistance in a hydropower dam area of Southwestern Ethiopia The prevention of malaria in Southwestern Ethiopia has relied mainly on early diagnosis and treatment of infection and reduction of human-vector contact by indoor residual spraying (IRS) or insecticide treated bed nets (ITNs). provide data on whether the mosquito populations of Southwestern Ethiopia develop resistance against insecticides and the existence of detect kdr mutation.
