Grading ∆ Grades are based on the accumulation of points and weights. ∆ Points are based on: ◘ Class participation (effort) 15% ◘ Completion of assignments (daily work and quizzes) 35% ◘ Major projects, exams 50% ∆ Grades are posted online and updated every Friday. Our Grading Scale 91-100% = A 81-90% = B 70-80% = C 60-69% = D Below 60% = F Grades are calculated on cumulative percentage

4. Show Respect ∆ Value yourself. Be honest and ethical, and practice strong moral values. ∆ Treat all members of the school community and all visitors with politeness and respect. ∆ Honor the ideas and opinions of others. ∆ Offer to help. ∆ Be responsible with property and belongings. ∆ Online assignments need to be worked as you would in class. Integrity is important in learning.

5. Responsibility for Coursework ∆ Bring notebook, textbook, planner, calculator, and appropriate writing tools to class. ∆ Know due dates, and submit all coursework on time. (This includes the online worksheets)

6. Policies ∆ Please be in your seat when the bell rings, as class begins at that time. ∆ Absences ◘ Ask group members or a classmate first for assignments and notes. ◘ Each absence has a one-day grace period. ◘ If absence is for a school activity, homework is due on the original date ◘ If a review for a test is missed due to school activity, you will still be responsible for taking the test on the original day. ◘ Tutorials for many assignments can be found online so you can stay up with your classmates.
