Goals -Updating the ASC constitution to reflect present practice and future directions -Maintain ASC traditions while building and founding others -To unite six student organizations with a sense of community and shared purpose while preserving and respecting their autonomy -Fresh, innovative, ideas for “campaigns” (open to suggestion) -Re-Evaluate “Progress” -better record-keeping to assist future organization members -Better communication between organizations and with ASC -Having a voice on campus and in the community -being part of a small community within a larger community -not just on those that pertain to diversity issues -recognizing and respecting both differences and similarities within our group

5. Upcoming Events Sept 17 – “Open to Suggestion” 6:30pm - 7:00 – Meet and Greet for Underclassmen 7:00 pm - 7:30 Discuss and suggest future events, submit amendments to the constitution. Refreshments will be provided! Sept 24 – Revamping the Constitution 6:30pm – 7:30 – Washington 302 -Presidents and ASC officers will meet to vote on amendments to the constitution (All councilors should be present! Talk to TJ or Steph if you don’t think you will be able to make it!) - ASC Date Auction..TBA -Funding ideas (T-shirts?) Winter Ball
