Apply to the Child & Family Advocacy Certificate Program Program is comprised of three components: 1.Core Curriculum: a)Integrated Law & SW Seminar in Child Welfare b)Child Welfare/Abuse & Neglect Course in Social Work 2.Elective Course a)Family Law elective from Law College (several to choose) 3.Law & Social Work Clinic Externship

4. Broad definition of child welfare-Clinic handles a variety of legal matters involving children Law & social work graduate students paired together to complete work Law students complete one semester of externship- 12 hours per week
