What is Associated Students? Non-profit, public benefit California corporation chartered by the Board of Trustees of the California State University. Annual budget of over $650,000 which is administered by students Mission is to foster effective student governance in the University, protect student rights, and provide instrumental programming to the campus community. Club Sports Funding - Normal Requests Submit normal requests using the Funding Application found on the AS website Subject to all terms/conditions of AS Fiscal Policy and Funding Guidelines except some events may be held off campus and certain expenditures may be approved (i.e. non-event funding for paying referee costs) See funding guidelines for detailed information. Details of Funding If you plan to advertise, all publicity MUST give credit to A.S. Annual Budget Requests Every year the Associated Students approves its annual budget You may submit a budget request for funding during this period Your request must be made on the budget process form, available in the Associated Students office.
