GLAST LAT ProjectISOC Peer Review March 2, 2004 Document: LAT-PR-03213-01 Section 5 LAT Operations Facility 5 Other Requirements The LOF requirements are captured in LAT-SS-01783 –All workstations at the LOF are PC based (either Windows or Linux) No requirements for real-time commanding operations, all real-time commanding is performed at the MOC Command files are built off-line and verified by the test bed Primary requirements for workstations are: –Display of housekeeping telemetry –Display event messages, including command files –Telemetry processing control –Alarms and notifications –Storage of daily and weekly trending reports –Local housekeeping telemetry storage Up to 7 days on local workstations –Expect approximately 0.6 GB/day, 4.2 GB/week –With today’s technology of 300 GB disk in PC’s, that’s 71 weeks worth of housekeeping telemetry –Typical connections Internet (LAN and/or WAN) Phone/Fax Video –Presentation in section 6 addresses the software and tools for LAT operations
