Data Availability Nash SSU data 1/79-5/98 standardized to NOAA-6 NOAA N-14 data 6/98 – 12/05; overlap Nash 7/95-5/98 to remove bias; not adjusted for semi-diurnal tides NOAA N-11 data 7/97 – 12/03; overlap Nash 7/97-5/98 to remove bias; not adjusted for semi-diurnal tides In addition, overlap N-11 with N-14 2001 to remove bias; not adjusted for semi-diurnal tides AMSU-15 data 7/98 – present * Channel 14 lost 11/00 * Channel 11 lost 5/02 * Data stable to within 0.02C, 1998-2005 * Use 4 channels for entire period * Regressed against N-14 7/98-6/00 to simulate SSU AQUA data 1/03 – present * Regressed against N-14 1/03-12/03 to simulate SSU * Use 6 channels
