10 1) The great powers would not be included 2) An advisory committee would be created in New York (Brazil, Canada, Columbia, India, Norway, and Pakistan) 3) The force would not be a fighting force and would not seek to impose its will on anyone 4) It would be neutral 5) the sovereign rights of the nation on whose soil it was stationed would be respected 6) the nations supplying the troops would be responsible for paying them and providing their equipment

11 The Mandate “…to secure and supervise the cessation of hostilities, including the withdrawal of the armed forces of France, Israel and the United Kingdom from Egyptian territory and, after the withdrawal, to serve as a buffer between the Egyptian and Israeli forces and to provide impartial supervision of the ceasefire.”
