4 ΣE T (jets) W -> ev, ttbar, GMSB L = 100 inverse pb No cuts have been applied W -> ev, ttbar, GMSB L = 100 inverse pb MET > 180 GeV ΣE T (jets) is scalar sum of transverse energy of all jets with p T > 10 GeV No jet-photon overlap removal has been applied MET is due to escape of neutrino from W -> ev or gravitino [I hope that] ΣE T (jets) is not correlated with MET (with exception of MET due to mismeasurement) MET cut selects events with energetic jets
