Meaning you can use the same Silverlight control on a SharePoint site that you use in a windows application  Ease and speed on SharePoint deployment

3.  It is a Silverlight wrapper similar to the smart part which allows Silverlight controls to be hosted inside of SharePoint  Requires Silverlight on the client only  Supports Silverlight 1.0 or Silverlight 2 Beta 2 applications

4.  The SilverPart web part is the only thing that is required on the server  Silverlight controls are simply uploaded to a Document library and selected from the SilverPart web part  The new version is loaded on the next page refresh  No IISRESET is necessary  Debugging can be done locally on the development machine.

5.  The SharePoint object model or any dll that is not a Silverlight dll cannot be directly used in the control  End users must have the ability to install Silverlight on their machine  Silverlight 2 is still in Beta testing, therefore there can still be some bugs, and all users controls are not available yet i.e. the ComboBox
