Virostek - LBNL Page 6 Other Joint Issues/Information Bellows with flanges would be welded to both sides of RF Modules Bellows can accommodate large axial, pitch and yaw misalignments between vessels Lateral and roll misalignments are provided for by oversized holes in flanges Magnetic forces are not transmitted through the joint (taken to the floor by supports) Adaptor plate to detector modules would incorporate bellows assembly
