Schedule for T2 re-instatement: T2#2: – Inspection of T2#2 documented in MICE Note 272 Some issue with Notes site … couldn’t download it! – Next steps: Non-DLC bearings: – Material now available and machining about to start – Will produce a T2#3 with new bearing materials In parallel: – Checking forces generated with mis-aligned coils using OPERA model (PS, TB) – Devising magnetic QA rig (GB + Shf) – Devising concept for winding coils that is more precise Schedule T3: – Machining of parts well advanced – Coils being prepared in Sheffield – Will consider whether to use new coils or present coils based on: » Magnetic analysis » Magnetic QA on T2 stator

3. T3 schedule: T3 schedule still looks OK: – Need to expedite ‘R&D’ work on T2#3 Which is in hand
