Mission, Vision and Goals Vision of the Knowledge Exchange Initiative:  The Knowledge Exchange will add genuine value to the activities currently undertaken by a set of key (funding) bodies that have responsibility for information and communications technology (ICT) development in education and research within their nations.  Increase understanding of unique political, geographical features in policies, structure, acceptance, etc., regarding ICT support in research and tertiary education in the partner countries. Mission, Vision and Goals Goals of the Knowledge Exchange Initiative:  Create a forum for the partner countries to discuss current challenges, share ideas and concentrate efforts and investments,  Increase the profile of national research and development activity,  Where appropriate, strive to achieve a common infrastructure based on common standards,  Be a point of contact for other organizations attempting to coordinate national activities in similar areas. Organization  Knowledge Exchange Office (KEO) started 22 August 2005 in Copenhagen – Staff: Program Director, Program Manager, Secretarial Help  Office facilities provided by Danish National Library Authority (DNLA – home to DEff)  Two Delegates each country selected by the national funding agencies to the Knowledge Exchange Board + Chairperson delegated by hosting country (Denmark)  One National Representative chosen by national funding agencies to support KEO.
