2 Project Goals: Developing a Communication adapter to connect between a USB PC Port and an Experiment board.

3 RS232 is disappearing from the PC’s. We can find a USB Port in all computer today. USB supports a bigger flow of data. USB gives the potential to add more complex applications to the system. Why USB instate of RS232?

4 Requirements : A standard adaptor for all the boards in the laboratory. Support currently used applications. Support of a future more complex flow of data.

5 How the system works today? 1)Open the PC Program. 2)Turn on the Experiment Board. 3)In the Ex. Board a number is randomly chosen using a signal received from the PC to stop the counter. 4)This number sets the value of the different components. 5)This number is sent to the PC. 6)The PC loads the right results based on this number.
