2 Concept Selection Chassis –Roll Hoop Attachment: Bolted and bonded. –Shape: flat/planar facets –Manufacturing: Wood/MDF/Fiber Glass/Tooling Board Plug Pedal Box –Stiffening device: undecided –Manufacturing: compression molded tray, accessory tabs bonded with epoxy.

3 Concept Selection Undertray –Tunnel shape: Smooth shape with sharp edges. –Stiffening: Core/composite structure –Mounting: 5 hardpoints on chassis, 4 cables. –Jacking point: TBD

4 System Level Design Engineering Analysis –Undertray: Over 100 conceptual geometries simulated. –Pedal Box: Simple ANSYS simulation completed. –Chassis: Material research ongoing. Architecture: In progress Risk Analysis: In progress Proofs of Concept –Pbox: Bearing stress test completed 01/08/09
