Engineering H193 - Team Project Gateway Engineering Education Coalition P. 3 Spring Quarter 2008 This Week Robot Performance Test Four – Teams must demonstrate functional pick-up, identification and transportation mechanisms. –Robots must start when the CdS cell reads the LED start light. –Cross the Hill or Chasm. –Navigate to and pick-up either ice core. –Robot must return to the starting area with the ice core. –Robot must display the color of the ice core being carried on the Handy Board LCD.

Engineering H193 - Team Project Gateway Engineering Education Coalition P. 4 Spring Quarter 2008 Notes on Electrical Wiring Diagrams Show the wiring not just the port selection – how many wires are needed and to what / where do they connect Reference and use the drawing(s) from the FEH Web site or Handy Board Fred Martin site. A person reading your report should be able to repeat your work from the final report/project notebook Sketches/Drawings are needed that show the sensors, motors, and where they connect to the Handy Board. Also needed is a simple sketch of your robot chassis showing where the sensors are mounted. You may want to add sensors to your Inventor Drawing.
