Conclusions T2* appears to correlate with iron (possible use in evaluating iron content in certain diseases such as Parkinsons and perhaps Alzheimers) T2* appears to correlate with iron (possible use in evaluating iron content in certain diseases such as Parkinsons and perhaps Alzheimers) Decreased T2* of GM may lead to better T1 contrast (at least for motor cortex and basal ganglia) Decreased T2* of GM may lead to better T1 contrast (at least for motor cortex and basal ganglia) It would be interesting to correlate the iron content predictions of T2*, T2’ and phase It would be interesting to correlate the iron content predictions of T2*, T2’ and phase
