Claim to fame at MSU:1968 From “The Montanan” 1968 (with some minor corrections) Radio Station KATS, located at 590 kilocycles on your dial began broadcasting on October 2 nd. Four months later, on January 28, it was joined by KGLT, an FM station located at 90.1 megacycles. The stations are housed in special, sound- proofed, rooms in the basement of the SUB. The facilities involved represent and investment of $38,000 in equipment and building renovation costs. The large dials, called “pots,” regulate the relative volume of microphones, tape decks, and turntables.
