Researching a Job Opportunity If you’re interested in a certain job, you must research it and discover what tasks you would be asked to perform and how the change would affect your life. Resources include: Employer Market Community

Studying Your Employer Review any company literature put out by the employer that studies the company’s products and/or services. Talk with the employees that have worked or are still working for the employer Discuss the business practices and employer with any suppliers they may have

The Market Does the company’s future in the market have an outlook that looks promising that will lean towards growth?

A New Community Research the cost of living Is the quality of life (recreational and social opportunities) evident? If children are or will be a part of your life, study the nearby school system
