What is the HR function? What are the goals of HRM? Who is responsible for fulfilling these goals?

HR Stakeholders HR is responsible to many different stakeholders – Management – Employees – Unions – Regulatory agencies (for example, EEOC) – Shareholders Must balance needs/desires of multiple stakeholders

Case Discussion Read Toyota article What is causing Toyota ’ s quality problems? Are these problems that can be addressed by HR? If so, how?
