4 Look on URSA to see which catalog you are in – Go to ◦ Student Information  Curriculum Information ◦ Current Program  Catalog Term Read the course descriptions Check out course prerequisites Be aware of GPA requirements

5  Do you have the… ◦ Correct major ? (minor if applicable) ◦ Correct concentration ? ◦ Elementary licensure ? ◦ ESL endorsement ? (if applicable)

6  These are listed by institution on your unofficial transcript  AP/IB credits  Contact Admissions {351-2881} if credits are not listed A grade of ‘C’ or higher will transfer Transfer cr. does not calculate into UNC GPA

13 In the Math concentration: ◦ MATH 391, MATH 395 & MED 381 are f all only classes In the Language Arts concentration ◦ FILM 120 requires also registering for FILM 121

14 EDEL 350 Emergent Literacy Please allow for 4 hours per week for tutoring and observation PTEP program requires a ‘B’ or better in ENG 122 OR ENG 123

15  EDRD 319 needs to be taken the semester prior to EDEL 350 Emergent Literacy  If you are unable to register for EDRD 319, put your name on the waiting list

16  If EDRD 314, 319; EDEL 320, 350; or EDF 370 are closed   Put your name on the waiting list  The waiting list is located on the PTEP website www.unco.edu/teachwww.unco.edu/teach  PTEP will notify you via Bear mail if a new section opens
