1 Shaffer LEADER October 2010 Just wait and see how much we can squeeze into twenty days of school! October will be packed with learning and fun for our students! October means the Tour Du District, the Scholastic Book Fair and the Fall Fun Fair! Check back packs DAILY for information on all of these fun events. If you have misplaced your “Calling All Heroes” form, please consider emailing your contact info and list of interests to tarareis@verizon.nettarareis@verizon.net. You can find a list of PTO activities on page two of this LEADER. You can always give this information at our next PTO meeting on Tuesday, October 12 th. The meeting starts at 6:30pm and will feature a behind-the scenes look into what the “leaders” of Shaffer do on a daily basis! Feel free to bring a snack to share and as always, children are welcome! Please take a few moments to check out the Shaffer page of the Woodland Hills website at whsd.net. See you at Shaffer, where our teachers and students are LEADING the way!
