Project Description Development of a Computing help desk for Pace University students, faculty and employees. For members of the local community, particularly for non-profit organizations.

What’s the help desk? The system will deal with problem management. The help desk is a system where users can report their computer based problems. The help desk will consist of a Web interface to a backend database, which will store all the information about the problems reported.

System Requirements……. A server –Windows based –ODBC support

Software Requirements Server Side –A web-server –Perl 5 –A Database Create DSN “HelpDesk” –The DSN can be changed by editing “config.pl” Client Side –Any Operating System –Web Browser Java Script support Cookie enabled
