You’ll be doing the following: Writing a thumbnail sketch of the protocol Showing actual traffic on that protocol Finding at least 4 interesting facts about it I’ll be putting this up later today. I’ll assign the protocol to everyone. Protocols: DNS, SMTP, IMAP, AIM, NNTP, POP

Where does your mailbox live? How is mail formatted? How does SMTP figure out who your mail agent is? What sort of information is encoded in an email header?
