Overview The project consists of a speech module device which allows for playback of messages. This module will then be incorporated into different devices for people with disabilities such as those who are visually impaired. The challenge in this project is to create a quality, cost- effective device that can be easily made for assisting teachers and easily reproduced in learning situations by children and young adults. We will not only create this device with the specs given, but also implement it in a device that will benefit society as a whole.

Device Addressing RecordingCall Address Record Message Button 1H (A0) After Calling Address Button 2H (A1)After Calling Address Option A (Static) Pins A0-A5 are addresses which are referenced for storing data. Option B (Dynamic) Data is stored and recalled based off of EOF Markers Example: Recording A0 (Call Address) Record Message Button 1LAfter A0 Pulse Button 2Pulse HAfter A0 Pulse Button NPulse H ((N-1))After A0 Pulse

Sweet Picaxe Microprocessor (with Flash Memory) Programmable in BASIC or by flow chart Cheap
12
Picaxe Utilization ➢ Controller = Picaxe ➢ Use the Picaxe so that we can record and reference different things
13
Potential Problems ➢ System Design ➢ Time Management ➢ Design Level ➢ Conflicting Schedules ➢ Task Assignments ➢ Circuitry Elements ➢ Cost-Effective Product

Up and Coming Implement the Picaxe system. Programming logic. Assigning tasks. Not too familiar with it. Design and use a PC board. Design with Express PCB.Express PCB Solder circuit elements. (Without overheating delicate chips.) Fabricate the casing. Aesthetically pleasing. Easy to use interface. Apply the system to a device.
