2 RFID Background Radio Frequency Identification Uses radio waves to identify people or objects Consists of an antenna and a transceiver Similar to barcode system

3 RFID Uses Animal tracking anti-theft tags in merchandise Passports Human tracking

4 Security There are great risks involved with these RFIDs. For example, passports have the risk of being hacked into with the right tools. If all the information stored is valuable, others may find the way to get the information

5 Ethics Today, like the researcher, many are trying to find a way to avoid hacking into this sensitive information. When one finds a way to get in, another finds a way to block. This process continues, as both get smarter.
