3 Our CSS objects exercise Take a look at a short but familiar genre…choose one you can see a few examples for easily such as a Job Ad. Break it up into the objects that would have to be defined in a style sheet…don’t worry about the right syntax too much at this point…concentrate on defining objects, attributes, etc.

4 Editorial Roles for P1 Development Team - responsible for ensuring consistency of articles at the thematic level, suitability for audience, etc.; will decide major content “sections” and guidelines for developing these User-Experience - responsible for the look and feel of the ‘zine; will establish global styles and make decisions about exceptions/changes to these; will create and publish the.css file that authors link to Production Team - responsible for making sure the ‘zine functions; will establish file-naming policies, image size/resolution, and similar; will give procedural guidance to authors about storing files, linking, etc.

5 Editorial Team Deliverables Development Team - revised full article template w/inline comments guiding authors User-Experience - revised style sheet Production Team - working sample w/ dummy text; short (very short) list of steps/guidelines Development & User Experience Teams should post deliverables by end of class session 4. Production Team, shortly after that.
