PROJECT LEAD THE WAY PLEASE SEE THE NATIONAL PROJECT LEAD THE WAY WEBSITE www.pltw.org/ www.pltw.org/ Why should you be interested in Project Lead The Way? Because we have developed a hands-on, project based approach to learning that better prepares students for the rigors of college. Our program incorporates math, science, English, and technology skills needed for success. Our professional development program will also help to improve your teachers skills and provide you with classes that students come to early, leave late and truly enjoy.

Participants will be introduced to different technical career areas and the excitement of science and technology through hands-on laboratory and field exercises. At TWIST you will meet positive, professional role models, friendly faculty, undergraduate Oregon Tech students, make new friends with other young women who share your interests, live in a college dormitory for a week, and explore technology and science as a career. We go on fieldtrips around the Klamath Basin, including a ride and ice cream social on the Klamath Belle, a historic paddleboat located on beautiful upper Klamath Lake, the largest natural fresh water lake in the western United States.
