Frequently asked questions: Things to Remember: * boarding and departure times are strictly enforced, there are 55 participants, please be courteous to all. Be on time ! The bus will leave without you. * in case of emergency on the morning of departure contact the MCC Public Safety Desk immediately (292- 7120) or contact one of the club advisors: C. Mellas: (585) 766-5904 * trip includes: 1 dinner (Dec. 2) and 3 breakfasts (Dec. 3, 4 and 5) … be prepared to pay $$$ for for all other meals * trip does not include cost for rental equipment or ski/snowboard lessons. You can plan on approx. $95.00 for 3 days of equipment rental at Sugarbush. If you do not own your own equipment, it is suggested that you rent or purchase or lease your equipment in Rochester prior to the trip, rather than renting while on the trip. * rental lockers are available at Sugarbush should you decide to carry a pack with lunch, snacks and beverages for your “at the mountain” needs * be sure to bring medical insurance information / cards and emergency contact phone numbers * be prepared for cold weather … Vermont mountains are tall and the weather conditions can be windy and very cold * prepare in advance for your MCC “pick-up” at 11:00 PM on Friday Jan. 5 (parking lot M1) The Wyndham Hotel in Burlington is a full service /resort with: fitness room, indoor swimming pool, and hot tub * Website information: ski area: www.sugarbush.com hotel: www.wyndhamburlington.com * as representatives of MCC on a Student Association sponsored event it is imperative that New York laws, Vermont laws, and MCC policies be followed at all times. No … but additional charges are added: Triples: add $25.00 per person Doubles: add $75.00 per person Singles: add $200.00 per person Does price include ski / snowboard lessons or equipment rentals ? Dinner on your own in downtown Burlington Thursday Jan. 4, 2007 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM breakfast at Wyndham Hotel 7:45 AM bus transfer to Sugarbush 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM ski / ride 4:30 PM bus transfer back to hotel. Our club meets every Monday at 12:00 noon in room 11-301. New members are always welcomed. Besides skiing and snowboarding, our club participates in a wide variety of outdoor activities including: hiking, camping, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, skydiving, biking, and kayaking. You are invited to our meetings or stop by our office in the MCC Campus Center (3-138A) for more information.
