Goal of this information session To inform students of reasons for curriculum revision Explain changes in curriculum Explain consequences for students and their study plan Offer possibility to ask questions

Why curriculum revision as of 2008-2009 Current curriculum is highly regarded and received both national and international recognition, however: We still see the opportunity for further improvements, based on signals and suggestions of : * students (evaluations) * authorities within the university (educational concept) * external authorities (quality increase in relation to other (inter)national comparable programmes) * corporate world Developments at university level give rise to changes in the curriculum: * implementation of the university-wide minor system (extra room for elective courses)

How to complete your bachelor programme Complete the programme that you started Courses passed and credits earned remain valid Courses you have not passed yet will be replaced by new courses (equivalence table) Transitional arrangements Make a study plan on time

The new curriculum – main changes If you passed both International Business Strategy and Strategic Management before September 2008, you do not need to follow the new course International Business Strategy. If you only passed one of these courses or none of these courses before September 2008, you have to follow the new course International Business Strategy. If you passed both Organisation & Management and Organisational Dynamics before September 2008, you do not need to follow the new course Organisational Theory & Development. If you only passed one of these courses or none of these courses before September 2008, you have to follow the new course Organisational Theory & Development.

How to complete your bachelor programme Step by step procedure Cross out all courses you have passed before September 2008 on left side of equivalence table (pre-master students also cross out all courses that are not part of their personal programme) For the remaining courses on the left side: look up the new courses on the right side of the equivalence table and highlight them Look up the highlighted courses (right side of equivalence table) in the overview of the new curriculum and highlight the courses The highlighted courses in the overview of the new curriculum are the courses you still need to pass in order to finish your programme and it shows you your study plan for 2008-2009

Master entrance requirements Current bachelor 3 students and pre-master students, requirements for entrance in September 2008 and September 2009: Maximum of one course open of Bachelor 2 or 3 according to the new curriculum Pre-master students: maximum of one course open of personal programme according to the new curriculum Passed the Research Project/Bachelor Thesis course
