Scientists (Point of View Guide) For this topic we will discuss the lives of many scientists who have had a major impact on the field of Chemistry – particularly atoms. For this activity, you will be taking on the identity of one scientist. You will first provide written responses to the prompts listed on your “Point of View Guide” sheet to help you become familiar with who “you” are. Once you respond to the questions (and possibly do some additional research), your group must prepare a presentation that describes the scientist’s life and any significant discoveries he has made. During your presentation the class will have an opportunity to ask you questions as if you are the scientist; therefore, you must be well prepared and knowledgeable about who, “you” are. You will be provided with additional information to assist you for your presentation.
