2. Never alone  How did it feel to be alone and blindfolded?  How would the man feel being alone in London?  Do you think God has ever been alone?

3. Never alone  Before time began- Father, Son and Holy Spirit lived in joy and love  God is perfect  Never needed anybody or anything else  Yet chose to make us!  And make himself known to us and love us

4. Never alone  Understanding God completely is impossible  We’re going to look at God: 1. Trinity 2. Father  How can humans know anything about God?

5. God uncovered  God known through “revelation” or “unveiling” or “uncovering”  Only because God has chosen to reveal himself to us  “The heaven declares the glory of God: the skies proclaim the work of his hands” Psalm 19

God uncovered  Communication is necessary  The Bible is God’s communication  But we must also live alongside someone before we can get to know them  God came to earth as a human – Jesus “ Anyone who has seen me has seen the father” John 14:9  God revealed : creation, Bible and relationship with Jesus through Holy Spirit

7. 3 in 1: The trinity  Trinity- God revealed himself as both one and three  “Hear O Israel, The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” Deut 6:4  “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19  “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

8. God the father  God is amazing- beyond our wildest dreams  God described as our father and Jesus teaches us to pray to our “daddy”  God is a perfect father  What would a perfect father be like?  Our all powerful God is also our perfect Dad

9. It makes me want to …Worship  God is complex and mysterious  But also loves us  Only right response to this to worship him
