The Blackboard Content Collection is a solution for collaborating on, controlling, editing, and storing reusable content items across course sites, the University and among colleagues at other institutions. 5 5 Problems Although Content Collection is a useful tool, it does come with a few problems. Although Content Collection is a useful tool, it does come with a few problems. 6 6 Workflows While making workflows is not very complicated accessing an existing workflow can be counter intuitive. Steps: 1) Click tools, 2) Find Workflow activities, 3) Choose either sent or received workflows, 4) Select desired workflow, 5) Finally, click content items of the work flow. It takes a total of 5 navigation click to access the data!

9 9 Unnecessary Information Content Collection contains superfluous and unnecessary information. An example of this unnecessary content is the information provided in institution content. This extra information slows down the process of loading and retrieving information from the Content Collection System by causing information overload to its users.
