Topic: Reporting the Wonderful Weather Subject Area: Science and Language Arts Description: This assignment is designed to enhance the vocabulary and understanding needed for K – 2 English Language Learners in the content area of weather and seasons. The assignment shares with the students the weather in different seasons and expands into having the students create their own weather report for broadcasting. This assignment includes a power point that is embedded with Discovery Education videos on the seasons and an explanation of the weather forecasting assignment. The time frame is flexible and extensions to the basic assignment are included.
