25 ACHA NCHA 2000-2006 Trends and Healthy Campus 2010 Midcourse Review25 Healthy Campus 2010 Midcourse Review Introduction As done for the Nation’s health goals and objectives, Healthy People 2010, by the US Department of Health and Human Services the ACHA through the National Health Objectives Coalition conducted a midcourse review to assess the status of the national objectives. Through the Midcourse Review ACHA members and other experts assessed the data trends during the first half of the decade, consider new science and available data, and if appropriate, revise the objectives to ensure that Healthy Campus 2010 remains current, accurate, and relevant to campus public health priorities.

The top 10 health impediments baselines, targets and trends are shown on the slides 3, 4 and 5. Slides 6 through 21 show stress’ relationships to many variables from the NCHA. Lower academic performance was defined as having received a low grade on project/exam, course or incomplete/dropped. Question 44 of the American College Health Association National College Health Assessment was used. This presentation will be shown at the 2008 ACHA annual meeting.
