Valls - FPA2006-12672 Project8 Diseño del prototipo 9U OMB Select the link to be sent to the ROD (use Cyclic Redundancy, CRC) Design is critic as it will handle all the data collected in the detector and decide which one is sent to the LVL2 trigger. Lots of possibilities (8 FPGAs per board) Emulate FE in ROD and ROS calibration tasks Prepare data format to optimize ROD computation time Error pattern detection (identify wrong channels or modules) Synchronization with experiment through a TTCrx chip which receives trigger info from CTP
