Nexus One Background The new Google phone, the Nexus One, may make Apple nervous due to different features that the iPhone does not contain. Google’s Nexus One is a new Android phone which is created to its specifications. When the phone is released to the market, it will be available to purchase through the web. Several carriers will compete for different service strategies of the hardware.

Nexus One Carriers T-Mobile has carried the Nexus One since release. Google will be selling the phone at a price of $529 directly from Google at www.google.com/phone. For T-Mobile, the phone will cost $179 online, with a two year contract which will set you back $79.99 a month. Vodafone (Europe), and Verizon Wireless will sell the new piece of technology at a price that has yet to be announced in early Spring 2010.
