Tiengo - Mallorca, 8 April 2008 Conclusions & future work In region illuminated by CAL source and Tycho SNR: Mn line is narrower and more intense than Fe line CAL source much better than SNR to constrain gain and CTI Will it be still true when CAL source intensity decayed? Mn and Fe line centroids are significantly shifted during CAL source cannot be easily used to calibrate gain and CTI during normal sky observations Can CTI and gain be better constrained in a global spectral fit including all calibration source and astrophysical lines?
