2. Buster Bronco
The name for Western’s mascot was selected in 1981 through a student contest.
Buster was hired to be the mascot for WMU in 1988.
He is a member of the WMU cheer team.
He can be seen cheering for the Broncos at most of Western’s home games and some of the away games as well.
Buster’s favorite Bronco fans are the children. That it why he started the Bronco Kids Club in 1998.

6. Biography Page
I am a student at Western Michigan University studying Elementary Education. This is my last semester at WMU before starting my teaching internship in the fall of I hope to become a Kindergarten teacher in the future because I love teaching young children and an excited about building a foundation of knowledge for their future. I think the spirit of Western Michigan University is one that should be recognized and that is why I developed this presentation.
