4. Research Areas What is sustainable redevelopment when analyzed from a cultural, ecological, and economic viewpoint? How can we measure success over time? Development Potential: How can Nortown be integrated with surrounding communities? What can give Nortown a sense of cohesiveness? Historical: What has Nortown been, where is it going? What is the cultural makeup? Economic: What is the current economic status of Nortown? What is the long term benefit of sustainable design? Can we compare the “green” scheme with the “traditional” scheme?
