15. eICOLC 200315 Existing Pricing Models for a Consortium ► There is no fixed model for pricing ► It depends on funding from Ministries or other supporters ► Examples:  EBSCO Publishing - 50% ministries, 50% libraries (according to the size)  Science Direct – in inverse ratio to print subscription  ProQuest – 75% ministry, depends on no. of users + deep discount for academic libraries  CUP - 40% British Council, 60% libraries (the same price for all)
